Craft Time: Changing Leaves
Looking for a creative and simple fall activity to do with your kids? This leaf-throwing collage is the perfect way to celebrate the season and make lasting memories!
Start by gathering some leaves. You can either go on a fun nature walk with your child or pick up some artificial ones from the dollar store. Once you have your leaves, snap a picture of your child, posed as if they were to toss leaves into the air. For the next step, remove the background from the photo using an app like Canva or Photoshop, or go old-school by carefully cutting out the image.
Now, grab a piece of plain white paper and tape your child’s cutout to the bottom center of the page. Surround the image with the leaves you collected, arranging them so it looks like they're flying into the air. Once everything is in place, attach the leaves with tape or glue, and you're done!
This simple and engaging craft combines outdoor exploration with creativity, giving your child a fun keepsake to remember the season. Enjoy the process and let your little one's personality shine through their artwork!
Cheers,
Meg
